Bayer, industry leaders in health care, nutrition and high tech materials was looking for a corporate work space that encapsulates moving with the times, vivacity and ebullience. It also wanted an office design that drives home the company’s aspirations.
DB&B took full advantage of the free hand given by Bayer to come up with a unique concept of “a balanced environment” featuring a delicate poise of contrasting colours, lines and shapes. With the office set in the bustle of downtown Petaling Jaya, the DB&B team was inspired to infuse elements of energy and excitement into its design.
The reception area is a study in balance and contrast. Earthy tones stand in sharp contrast to the animated hues of circular graphic elements. The vibes are that of an environment that is clean and crisp rather than cold and surgical. The general work area displays an astute balance, with selected walls clad in lifestyle images and corporate messages, and workstations in neutral tones.
Thanks to the creative freedom given, the final product is 25,000 square feet of space that encapsulates corporate flair and earnest labour.
