Keeping to its brand image of footwear, accessories and apparel made for rugged comfort, Timberland's new office is a stylish homage to masculine chic.

This office of 18,000 sq.ft, which overlooks Keppel bay, makes use of leather, exposed beams, warm woods and a modern colour scheme to create a look that is both classic and contemporary.

The rough brick wall serves as a dramatic backdrop against the orange leather upholstery of the reception desk, while the waiting corner is a comfortable nook with rich mahogany sofas and a stone water fixture. Making clever use of the space, the reception pans out to reveal a semi-encased circular deck that is used to showcase product launches and demonstrations.

Designed to provide a high quality working environment, the spacious break-out area is undeniably masculine, due to liberal use of dark wood finishing. Here, employees can enjoy a game of pool, have a drink at the bar, and lounge on the sprawling sofa. The floor-to-ceiling glass window also offers a stunning view of the bay and the colour palette of orange, greens and blues, is both cheerful and comforting.

"I think every employee longs to work in a place that is aesthetically pleasing. It's a workplace that emanates warmth, comfort and fun," says a Timberland spokesperson.
