REGIONAL- As of 1 October 2021, DB&B Holdings has announced that they are officially part of Okamura Corporation. This newly forged relationship underscores both companies’ commitment to create more value for their clients and employees.

Okamura Corporation has been Japan’s leading office furniture manufacturer and a benchmark for the industry. The 76-year-old Japanese brand is recognized for its high quality products that have achieved design and engineering excellence.

“In the midst of these major changes surrounding offices, I believe that by mutually exchanging and sharing the ideas and knowledge that the DB&B Group and Okamura have gained through research and development as well as actual design and interior work activities, we will be able to quickly respond to the needs of our customers and cooperate in creating valuable offices that are a step ahead of the rest of the industry, “ says a visionary Masayuki Nakamura, President and CEO of Okamura Corporation.

Over the last quarter of a century, the DB&B Group has grown and matured in their capabilities across the region – Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Thailand and Philippines. They have been recognised for their outstanding performance in the commercial interior design industry with multiple design awards over the years. In recent news, DB&B is honoured with two gold awards – ‘A’Design Gold Award Interior Space and Exhibition’ for Becton Dickinson (Singapore) and ‘MUSE Design Gold Award in Interior Space’ for Invista (Shanghai).

Billy Siew, Chairman of DB&B Holdings similarly celebrated this capital relationship, “We believe that both Okamura Corporation and DB&B would be able to forge a strong bond through our similarities in values. We look forward to creating more synergy with Okamura Corporation, in ensuring longevity of our brands for many years to come.”
